The BORACAY NEWCOAST CONVENTION CENTER is a 1,200-seater convention facility, a modern tensile structure that can be divided into three smaller rooms, each with a capacity of 400 persons for theatre-type set-up and 250 persons for banquet-type set-up. Surrounding the facility is an open garden lawn, which can be used as an extended amenity for events.

This year’s theme “Brain Health: Opportunities, Resources, Advocacies,” is a gathering of minds and hearts—bringing together experts and thought leaders to engage in meaningful discussions on promoting brain health, preventing disease, fostering resilience and well-being, and embracing our vital role as advocates for brain health in every community we serve.

On behalf of the PNA Board of Governors, it is with great enthusiasm that I extend this invitation to each of you to join us at the 31st Midyear Convention of the Philippine Neurological Association, taking place on June 5–7, 2025, at the Boracay Newcoast Convention Center. This year’s theme - “Brain Health: Opportunities, Resources, Advocacies” reflects a timely call to action for the neurological community as we are uniquely positioned not only to treat disease, but also to lead the broader movement toward a brain-healthy society.
This convention is designed to engage us in deeper conversations about our evolving role - not just as clinicians, but also as educators, advocates, and stewards of public health. Through our four core modules, we will explore the promotion of brain health across all ages, evidence-based strategies for the prevention of neurologic disease, tools to foster resilience and well-being within the profession, and impactful advocacy models that connect us to communities, policymakers, and digital platforms. A key highlight will be the presentation of the PNA Position Paper on Brain Health which is an important step toward more holistic and inclusive neurological care in the Philippines.
We also invite you to pause, relax, and unwind. The serene beauty of Boracay provides the perfect setting to rekindle our friendship with our colleagues, or maybe just recharge by the beach, enjoying the island breeze. In caring for others, we must also care for ourselves.
