It is with pleasure and anticipation that I extend a warm welcome to all our colleagues, partners, and friends to the 47th Annual Convention of the Philippine Neurological Association. This year, we gather under the timely theme, "Bedside Neurology: Innovations and Improvisations," a proof of how our field is constantly evolving.

This year’s theme is a perfect fit for us. We're not just about high-tech gadgets and advanced science; we're about the moments of connection and clarity that happen right at the patient's bedside. This convention is our chance to celebrate both the exciting new tools and technologies that are changing our practice and the timeless art of thinking on our feet—the "improvisations" that make us truly great clinicians. The ability to improvise and adapt in resource-limited settings is a cornerstone of Philippine neurology. Our convention will feature sessions dedicated to sharing these creative solutions and best practices, ensuring that quality neurological care is accessible to everyone anytime, anywhere.

We've packed the four days with dynamic sessions and workshops, offering you a chance to learn from the best and share your own breakthrough moments. It's the perfect opportunity to reconnect with mentors, colleagues, and friends—and maybe even make a few new ones. This is your chance to recharge, learn something new, and connect with people who share your passion.

Dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure and honor to invite you to the 47th Annual Convention of Philippine Neurological Association which will be held from November 26-28, 2025 at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel in Mandaluyong City, Manila with the theme, “BEDSIDE NEUROLOGY: Innovations and Improvisations”.

The burgeoning body of information and local experts in the neurosciences has allowed us to prepare a hefty scientific program with parallel sessions on different fields of interests in the three days of the convention. I hope they do not overwhelm you! On November 25, 2025, we are offering pre-convention courses for those who want to refresh their skills in interpreting Cerebral Angiography, managing Neurocritical Cases and publishing Researches. The Asian-Oceanian Movement Disorder Society has also auspiciously decided to partner with us on a Botulinum Toxin Workshop for Movement Disorders to be conducted by regional specialists during the pre-convention date. The Scientific Committee worked hard to put the topics together to cater to the varied interests of our members. We made sure there will also be sessions to discuss equally relevant topics like medical ethics and Philhealth concerns as well to provide the important times to connect with colleagues through our open forum and social events.

This once a year gathering of the PNA family is always something to look forward to and I hope you will be there to enjoy the PNA Fellowship night with a special theme for this year, so make sure you come in your Pageant Night best!

Since our convention attendance has increased so much (> 840 attendees) in the past years, we are encouraging everyone to pre-register online (registration and payment included) to avoid the long lines during the first day of the Annual Convention. Deadline for pre-registration is November 20, 2025. The pre-convention registration is also limited to only 50 persons per workshop so register early and get your slot!
